Steam is a Valve content delivery application that was initially released on September 12, 2003 as a platform for only Valve games. Since then it has grown to host AAA titles such as Call of Duty, Fallout, Bioshock, and countless others. Steam also has many demos and servers created for specific games which makes it easier to find people to play your games with.

Steam is a free service that can be downloaded from the homepage.
